Well finally, life seems to be slowing down a bit. Nothing major has happened this last week just getting time relax and hang with the hubby and dogs. I must say this is the part of Life I really enjoy. Thank God for helping us through the rough times. Hope everyone is getting life in the slow lane...coolios

finally....whew!
Well things seem to be settling down a little..no more drama going on for the moment. It is, however, to fricken hot to even think of going outside. I really am beginning to hate the summers here. I would like to go out and work in my yard (have grown to love it when I can actually breath outside, which I can't do in this heat and humity). My husband and I are considering with the next few years moving to somewhere that gives me the ability to actually step outside all year long. This would be very nice for me. Just a dream for now, but we are considering it...Hope everyone's weekend has been great and the week to come even better

Ok this is an addition to the last post....OMG will it ever quit!
Ok after all the other BS that happened...we were sitting in our home when our electric went out for about 6 hours...in the Texas heat of about 97 degrees...argh! Then when it came back on the internet did not work...which would not be so bad but I live the internet...this lasted for 4 days due to inept employees not know what they were doing...try to do without the internet for 4 days when your banking, socializing, family contact, etc are all done on here....so as it goes life goes on....can't wait to what else is in store for us...lmao!!!!

When it rains it pours.....
Have you ever had time when one action starts a series of things and all of them are not good?
We live in the country and hence own a septic tank for things going out of the house and well for water coming into the house.
Our schedule for last week of May and the month of June were as follows...
1. Brother-in-law wedding the last Friday of May
2. Nephew-in-law wedding the last Sunday of May
3. First week of June my 25 year old stepdaughter moves back home to California after 2 yrs of wasted time in college (one classes to get an Associates degree that has taken 7 years to get and she walked away to be with a boy....argh parenthood sometimes is a pain in the ass!)
4. Needless to say she left the room in an absolute mess ...beyond mess pigs live cleaner (ever notice that kids today live like disgusting slobs? No matter how hard you get them to clean it is a massive arguement and struggle not worth dealing with...I just know that I will never eat at their homes...and I know this is not just my children...mine were not raised this way!) This took us over 3 days to clean the room and since she was leaving we decided (not at a good time) to reorganize things so the room would now be my craft room which required massive moving of things so the house was a disaster for over a week...argh!
5. In the mist of hurricane stepdaughter my youngest son and my husband and my's younges child of six graduated high school (the 22 of June)....woot woot!!! So off to New Jersey (16th of June) with hurricane stepdaughter still blowing in our home.
6. Got home only to discover that our home was burglarized! It was such a diaster to begin with the hurricane in it and all has taken weeks to discover what all was taken...sure the hurricane scared the helll out of the robbers...(by the way found out it is not considered a robbery unless you were home....trust me was chewed out by the Police and Insurance company about the misuse of this term...argh! This was around the 23 of June.
7. We had approximately 5 days to get the house in order as on the 28th of June we were expecting 3 family members and 2 dogs to arrive from Minnesota (after they drove straight through to Texas)...so this was a hurry hurry situation....but loved the outcome as my home has never been that clean since my children got old enough to argue back about cleaning...argh!
8. Well the day before the company was to arrive our Water well motor went out...OMG!! No water 5 people and 5 dogs (we owned 3)!!!!! So bless the great husband I have he was able to fix not only the septic but now the water well with minimal expense...Thank you God for your blessing...truely!
9. Once the well was fixed we found out that the kitchen sink faucet was broken and would not depense water of more than adribble...argh! (this was the day before company was to arrive...actually the night before...no time to get it fixed that day...but my glorious husband tried to.
10. June 28th and company arrives..yippee!!! I love my family...a little background here...my sister and her wife brought my niece and her 1 1/2 year old daughter and her dogs to deliver said two dogs to stay with us for a year while her and her husband (who left the previous Monday) were sent to Afganistan to fight for our Country...!! So now we have 5 1/2 people and 5 dogs and no kitchen faucet! My husband during this commotion bought and installed a new faucet and sink...did I say I love him?!
11. On July 1st my Army son arrived for a weeks stay...Well as of today July 8 my son left to go back to Aurora, Co. is duty station. Now we have hurricane Son to clean up after....argh!
But after all is said and done....I am blessed!...Had wonderful family over...the love of 2 new dogs for a year (the least I could do for family and Soldiers who protect my way of life..by the way her Mom and wife are keeping the baby for year...what cool parents are they?!!! ...the best) the ability to repair items that needed fixing for a minimal amount and having the ability to afford insurance to cover the burglary and the fact no one was home at the time and a great husband to boot!..God must love me!
